The first particularity of a Berthoud Cycles saddle lies in the fact – both unique and yet so obvious – that each of the parts that make it up, in addition to its impeccable quality, can be replaced in the distant future, from the backplate to the saddle nose, to the stainless steel or titanium rails, screws, cups, and the piece of leather that makes up the seat. Completely removable thanks to the system of assembly of the leather on the frame, ensured by stainless steel screws whose heads are housed in brass cups. These conical inner cups fit into the recesses stamped in the leather, thus ensuring a perfect fit.
Long straight section for precise adjustment of the saddle’s recoil.
Patented anti-rotation tensioning system.
The leather is tensioned with a 5mm Allen key.
A unique number engraved on the nose cup is assigned to each saddle.
